CDs:
The
new CD is READY.
"Jerry Lawson: Talk of the Town" features 20 tracks recorded on warm analog, a 20 page booklet of extensive liner notes filled with comments by Jerry, his version of how he and Talk of the Town came together, and individual performance notes on each song. Beautifully packaged, it's sure to become a collector's item.
If you are a fan of the wonderful, delightful, soulful a cappella
giants The Persuasions, then you will be blown away by this new effort
by their former lead singer, Jerry Lawson. Hooking up with Talk of the
Town has clearly invigorated and energized him; together they create one
of the most electric and astounding albums you're going to hear for a
long time. As he has for more than forty years, Jerry continues to amaze
listeners with what can be done with no other instrument than the human
voice.
(And if you've never heard of The Persuasions, or been turned on to the
magic of a cappella -- where the heck have you been? Not to worry -- you
can start your voyage right here. You're in for one helluva ride.)
--Phil Lerman, writer, producer, lifelong fan

May 2006 :
My dear friends John & CJ Milroy just released their newest CD! John
asked me to accompany him on track 6 "Hallelujah Time" What
an honor & what a great tune. I am really in awe of their talent.
All original, very clever lyrics, fabulous storytelling & sweet harmony.
But more importantly, they both have hearts of gold. I sure hope all of
you reading this will add their CD to your collection. You won't hear
anything like it in the commercial world of music, it's really exceptional.
Send me an email and let me
know what you think. http://cdbaby.com/cd/milroys

TV Shows
The story of Jerry's transition from leaving
the Persuasions to intersecting with Talk of The Town is so striking that
a one hour movie for TV is in the process of being filmed!
September 2005
A
new kids show premiered on the cable station Noggin.
Jerry & Talk of The Town performed the tune "I'm
So Glad." It's airing weekly throughout the season, but
for those of you who don't get the station you can view it on your computers!
Just click here.
If you love it please let Noggin know
and maybe they'll have the guys back next season!
For Moms, Dads & kids who have already seen Jerrys segment
and would like to buy Jerrys children CD with that tune on it
look no further! You can purchase it directly
from our site. We are trying to persuade Noggin
to make the video available for you to purchase too. Well
let you know if that happens.
